GROTESQUE
These grotesque paintings portray the face in a surprising way. The large eyes, the distinctive mouth, and the peculiar, sometimes humorous features characteristic of intellect capture our attention, making it nearly impossible to simply overlook them. We might try to decipher the gaze or realign the proportions, but in the end, we must admit: these paintings were created solely to bring a smile to our faces.
